Our season in Frankfort begins in mid-July and extends until
mid-September. We typically run two charters a day. The Trophy Cup is docked in slip 15
of the North Star Marina on the south shore of Betsie Bay next to the Cabbage Shed restaurant.
It is just a short distance from our dock to Lake Michigan and a great
day of sport fishing. Most of the time we fish within 6 miles of
the Frankfort pier heads.
The port of Frankfort has excellent fishing for king
salmon, steelhead, brown
trout, lake trout, and coho salmon. Catch all 5 species and you
have the "Frankfort Grand Slam."
Captain Eric has been fishing this port since
1978.
Nearby attractions include casinos, wold-class
golf, river tubing, camping, Traverse City (shopping) and the famous
Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Frankfort also has miles of
sandy beaches for a long lazy hike or an evening around a camp fire.
