Captain Eric has been
fishing this port since 1978. Our season in
Frankfort begins in mid-July and extends until
mid-September. We typically run two charters a day. The Trophy Cup is docked in slip 15
of the North Star Marina on the south shore of Betsie Bay next to the Cabbage Shed restaurant.
The port of Frankfort
has excellent fishing for king salmon, steelhead,
brown trout, lake trout, and coho salmon.
Catch all 5 species and you have the "Frankfort Grand Slam."
Nearby attractions include casinos, wold-class golf, river tubing,
camping, Traverse City (shopping) and the famous Sleeping Bear National
Lakeshore. Frankfort also has miles of sandy beaches for a long
lazy hike or an evening around a camp fire.
